A small operation, and an honest one.
Lorelight is one product made by one person. There is no warehouse, no support desk and no call centre — when you email us, the person who chose the product and wrote this page is the one who replies.
Why this thing exists
Reading in bed is a solved problem for one person and an unsolved one for two. A lamp lights the room. A phone lights your face. A clip-on light beams up off the cover and puts a cone of it on the ceiling. All three reach the person trying to sleep next to you.
Lorelight is an edge-lit panel that lies over one page. The light travels through the acrylic and comes out downward, onto the paper, and stops at the edge of it. Lift it off the book and it stands on its base bar as a bedside lamp. That is the whole idea, and it is the only thing this brand sells.
How it reaches you
It ships directly from the maker rather than through a warehouse in between, which is why it takes about two to three weeks rather than two days. That is stated here, on the product page and at checkout, before you pay — not discovered afterwards in a confirmation email.
Shipping is free, to the US, Canada, the UK and Australia at launch. The price you see is the price you pay.
If it isn’t right
Read by it for thirty nights. If it isn’t right, email us for a refund or a replacement — you won’t need to post anything back. Every sleeper is different and no product page can tell you how you will find it, so the risk sits with us rather than with you.
